H! Workshop

EASA Hospitality 2017 in Denmark

With the guidance of Zoltán Kalászi, Bálint Tóth and Matyas Csiszar

EASA is currently the biggest organization focusing on creating workshops for students of architecture in Europe. Each year, over 500 students visit a different host country and for two weeks it is a place of many lectures, talks, projects and events. The invited guests often have world-renown and the amount of knowledge that can be learned is incomparable to any other similar experience.

In 2017, the hosts took the participants to Fredericia - a small city in the west of Denmark and the main theme of the workshop was Hospitality. For a site, our team chose a circular pier on a city beach. Using lighting, music and programs to control them, we created a multimedia scene for cultural events and for citizens and participants to gather.
