The ever-distant paradise

“ So the Eternal God banished Adam and Eve from the garden of Eden and exiled humanity from paradise.”

“ After driving them out, He stationed winged guardians [...] to guard the way to the tree of life.”

 

Were we banished centuries ago or are we just now sentencing ourselves for this fate? Our short-sightedness hinders us from understanding this. We find it difficult to imagine our position in the next five years, yet for the planet, this is just a blink of an eye. Therefore why, are we subjugating everything to our scale, not respecting Earth’s perspective. The time of climate catastrophe is upon us. Yet for the planet, it is practically already here. Every endangered environment, every plant and every animal is already lost. The nature we see outside our windows is very well gone. We think that the future does not affect us, but we are already living in it. Our current state is a constant crisis. Why then should we take joy from something we sentenced for extinction? Why are we trying so hard to keep the status quo of everlasting happiness? Do we deserve this or should we first work our way to the gates of Paradise we once shut?

Scientific Consensus regarding Climate Crisis is already reached. We know what is happening and we know precisely what is causing it. Furthermore, we know what to do to stop the process.

All we need is a wake-up call.
